an ode to cooking channel

I love Cooking Channel. I love how easy they make everything look. After watching a show I always feel like I can whip-up a three course, 4 star meal with ingredients I have laying around in my pantry!

I always have the tv on to cooking channel. It's a pleasant hum in the background of the tediousness that is stacks of laundry and piles of dirty dishes. Sometimes it sucks me in and I realize two hours have gone by and I have nothing to show for it except the burning desire to bake something with mascarpone cheese (which you can't get in Small Town BTW).

I love to watch Chuck throw together a baklava for a few of his friends.

I love watching all the quirky, artsy, foodies they showcase on FoodCrafters living their dream!

And I think Rachel Allen from Rachel Allen Bake! and I could be BFF's :)!!

Lastly, I love how it inspires me to be creative in a way that makes sense to me! Food is my art:)
